The Media Interest

Featured in the Guardian Guide and Frodsham Life Magazine

Hello and welcome to the online Crossley Hospital East Exhibition. This web site is about my photography and artwork inspired by Crossley Hospital, and my up and coming exhibition which now has been photographed for those of you who wont be able to view my work.

The site also contains some other derelict sites which i have visited, they can be found in the no longer used section.

Please feel free to explore the site, let me know what you think and if you find any problems etc, let me know.

Ian

See under exhibitions page 35 for the listing. I'll place a few scans up here of all my media/promotion that my exhibition has been covered by shortly.
It has also been confirmed that the December issue of Frodsham Life magazine (out at the end of November) will also publish a interview and selected photographs from my exhibition.
Due to the media interest in my work. A page has been produced to document articles about my work etc.

I will place scans of this article and others here shortly. As yet the Chester Chronicle is waiting to get back to me before an article is published.
Also i have kindly been sent photocopies of documents dating back to 1908 about Crossley, along with several personal accounts of life at the hospital. These also will be up on the site shortly.

Spent the
past few days on the phone to people who know Crossley better than anyone else - the people who worked there and lived near the hospital. God bless them for their stories, some very moving. I hope my work will do them justice.

If you wish to contribute to the site you may do, again by contacting me.
