The Media Interest
Featured in the Guardian Guide
and Frodsham Life Magazine
Hello and welcome to the online Crossley Hospital East
Exhibition. This web site is about my photography and artwork inspired
by Crossley Hospital, and my up and coming exhibition
which now has been photographed for
those of you who wont be able to view my work.
The site also contains some other derelict sites which i have visited,
they can be found in the no longer used
section.
Please feel free to explore the site, let me know what you think and if
you find any problems etc, let me know.

Asylum news:
It appears on a recent trip to High
Royds that the site has now been closed to the public and the older
parts of the site have been bulldozed.
The site was recently granted permission to be developed into its own

new heights in yesterdays national broadsheet the Guardian "Guide".

of all my media/promotion that my exhibition has been covered by shortly.
It has also been confirmed that the December issue of Frodsham
Life magazine (out at the end of November) will also publish a interview

Due to the media interest in my work. A page has
been produced to document articles about my work etc.

Anyway, it appears that the Chester Chronicle havn't yet confirmed when
exactly the article on my exhibition will be published. Either this weeks

in the November Issue. A full transcript of my interview will appear here
shortly. This friday (21st) the Chester

If you can't make my exhibition but would be interested in my work, give

4th October 05;

promoting my No Longer Used - The Decay Of Crossley Hospital East exhibition.
I will place scans of this article and others here shortly. As yet the
Chester Chronicle is waiting to get back to me before an article is published.
Also i have kindly been sent photocopies of documents dating back to 1908
about Crossley, along with several personal accounts of life at the hospital.
These also will be up on the site shortly.

appear in early October.
5th September 05;

- 16th December at Castle Park Art Centre, Frodsham, Cheshire. Contact
me for more details etc.
Spent the
past few days on the phone to people who know Crossley better than anyone
else - the people who worked there and lived near the hospital. God bless
them for their stories, some very moving. I hope my work will do them
justice.
If you wish to contribute to the site you may do, again by contacting
me.
